[SVN] '폴더명' is not valid as filename in directory 에러 해결 방법

 

SVN 변경 내용을 update 하려는데 다음과 동일한 에러가 발생했다.

stackoverflow 의 질문자는 폴더 이름에 공백이 있었는데, 나 같은 경우에는 폴더 이름에 . 마침표가 있었다.

Subversion은 파일이나 폴더 이름의 공백, 마침표를 처리할 수 있으나 Windows 에서는 공백이나 마침표를 처리할 수 없다.

이 때문에 발생한 문제인데, 아래의 해결 방법을 참고해 문제를 해결했다.

 

[해결 방법]

1. 마우스 우클릭 > TortoiseSVN > Repo-browser

 

2. 문제가 발생하는 폴더에서 이름을 수정한다.
